The festival committee of Morsang-sur-Seine (Essonne), in connection with the municipality, research actively apple donations in order to be able to ensure the production of jus and their sale solidarity planned for December 7 and 8, during the traditional Christmas market.
A sale for the benefit of people suffering from locked-in syndrome
As in previous years, this apple juice sale will take place during the two days of the event, organized by the festival committee in partnership with the Marathon association.
Above all, all profits from this sale are made for the benefit of the Alis association and patients with locked-in syndrome.

“This sale of apple juice is every year particularly popular and provides a significant boost to several associations,” specifies Olivier Perrin, the mayor of Morsang-sur-Seine, in a press release.
Last year, a check for 2,000 euros could have been given to the Alis association by the festival committee and the Marathon association.
“We are calling on farmers, individuals, but also food businesses or large retailers who have apples to donate to contact the town hall of Morsang-sur-Seine as soon as possible”, completes the councilor, thanking the donors in advance.
