After the historic strikes of 1991, 2001 and 2019, after the more contested edition of last year, it is almost becoming a habit: June 14 in Switzerland is adorned with purple, and women take to the streets. Initially organized to demand respect for the constitutional article on equality between men and women, the event will once again bring together thousands of demonstrators this year in around twenty cities across the country. Shunned last year by those who do not identify with the struggles of the left, the Feminist Strike is doing it again by placing the reform of the LPP at the center of the event.

Feminist enthusiast, Tamara Funiciello would however like all women to find their account in this day dedicated to equality. Even if she has abandoned shock actions, the former president of the Swiss Socialist Youth has lost none of her passion. National councilor since 2019, it is now within the Legal Affairs Commission that the Bernoise is fighting. Interview, eye to eye.
