Raspberry Pi Connect 1.2: What’s new?
The latest beta of Raspberry Pi Connect (1.2) includes remote shell access and support for all Raspberry Pi computers, whether they run Raspberry Pi OS 32-bit or 64-bit, going back to the Raspberry Pi 1 from 2012.
The new Raspberry Pi Connect remote shell feature allows you to launch a shell on your Raspberry Pi device from a web browser, over a secure connection.
This allows you to access your Raspberry Pi without a desktop environment. Remote shell access works over lower bandwidth internet/network connections, which is more complicated with the desktop display.
