After the grave accident of the road which occurred in the forest of Fontainebleau, on Monday November 4, 2024, two new losses of control have made additional victims in Seine-et-Marne, in the Melun Val de Seine police district, this weekend.
Thursday, in Chevry-Cossigny
On Thursday, November 7, around 5 p.m., the driver of a Renault Clio deviated from its trajectory on RD 471near Chevry-Cossigny, towards Collégien. He then successively hit a Renault Koleos which was circulating in reversea Renault Megane which ended up on the side of the road, then the Clio of a driving school.
The offending driver, with suspected internal injuries, was transported to Melun hospital. He is 24 years old and lives in Ozoir-la-Ferrière. The driver of the school car, aged 36 and living in Villeparisis, was seriously injured and also evacuated to Melun.
In Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry tonight
On the night of Thursday November 7 to Friday November 8, around 2:45 a.m., a motorist traveling in a Megane moved away on the left lane of the RD 607in Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry. He hit a Mercedes head-on. The occupant of the latter, aged 35 and living in Dammarie-lès-Lys, suffers from lots of pain at the level of the thorax, neck and wrists. He was taken to the Melun hospital center. In the other vehicle, the 34-year-old driver, residing in Essonne, was also taken care of by the emergency services, due to a open fracture of the knee.
