Since its beginnings, Hit The Floor has established itself as a meeting place for dance enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. The 2024 edition, which has just ended at the Lévis Convention Center, saw record attendance with more than 6,000 dancers and 30,000 visitors.

After 12 editions on the South Shore, Hit The Floor is taking a new step in and will take place at the Center de foires de Québec du May 15 to 19, 2025. The decision was not easy to make for the founder, Nicolas Bégin, himself originally from Lévis.

“The decision to transfer the festival from Lévis to Quebec was not easy. Lévis, this city where I grew up and where Hit The Floor took root, holds a special place in my heart and we are determined to continue our projects in Lévis. Indeed, Hit The Floor will liven up the Quai Paquet in Lévis all summer with Son, Danse et Lumières, a dance show in the water fountains. Furthermore, the transfer to Quebec will allow us to welcome a greater participation of dancers, but also spectators! Our priority is to ensure a comfortable and quality experience for our community. This move is a necessary step to ensure the sustainability of the festival,” confided Nicolas Bégin, founder and general manager of Hit The Floor.

By moving to the Quebec Fair Center, Hit The Floor hopes to continue its expansion.
