Be careful if you regularly take the RER B. Traffic will be interrupted on the southern part of the line throughout this long weekend, from this Saturday 9 to Monday 11 November. Trains will no longer run between Denfert-Rochereau station, in Paris, and la Croix de Berny station in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine), reports Le Parisien.
Substitute buses for travelers
This traffic interruption will make it possible to carry out modernization work on this section, and in particular to replace the Bourg-la-Reine signal box (Hauts-de-Seine). The RATP has planned replacement buses for these three days. Two lines will thus be set up: one between Porte d'Orléans and Croix de Berny and the other between Porte d'Orléans and Bourg-la-Reine.
The major project aimed at renewing the RER B equipment will continue for many months. Seven Temporary Traffic Interruptions (ITC) are planned on different sections between now and spring 2026.
