Megan Lalonde continues to claim to be a lawyer on social networks, despite the infraction that was issued against her in May.

The Quebec Bar also wanted to remind and warn the population against the actions of the fake lawyer “who continues to claim to be a lawyer on several social platforms”.
“Madame Lalonde is not and has never been authorized to practice the profession of lawyer. Furthermore, contrary to what she asserts, Megan Lalonde has never been suspended by the Syndic of the Bar nor by the Disciplinary Council of the Bar of Quebec since she has never been a member of the Bar of Quebec. – we read in the press release.
On May 3, the Quebec Bar sent a contract of offense “including the charge of having presented herself, between December 18, 2023 and April 30, 2024, as a lawyer, while she has never been a member in good standing of the Bar.”
If the young woman continues, despite everything, to claim to be a lawyer on social networks, the Quebec Bar could ask a judge to issue a criminal injunction for illegal practice of the profession.
The organization invites potential victims of fake lawyer Megan Lalonde to file a complaint with the police.
