Cirque du Soleil's Corteo show returns with six performances at the Accor Arena in , from November 6 to 10, 2024. This series of shows coincides with Cirque du Soleil's 40th anniversary this year.

After the great success of the show Kurios Cabinet of Curiosities, the Cirque du Soleil returns to Paris with his show Procession. Of 6 au 10 November 2024Cirque du Soleil offers you 6 performances at theAccor Arena from Paris. Created in 2005 in Montreal, the show has already captured the hearts of nine million people across 113 cities and 19 countries around the world.

Procession (“procession” in Italian), features a multitude of artists during the show and immerses you in the world of Clown Mauro. Imagining one's own funeral in an atmosphere paradoxically festiveyou will follow the clown ceremony with 51 artists from all over the world. Between acrobatic showssingers and actors, you will attend a complete show and fairy. Cirque du Soleil makes us return to childhood in the legendary Bercy room.

You will spend a good part of the spectacle heads raised, the ceremony taking place between heaven and earth, thanks to an impressive scenography. THE Cirque du Soleil once again deconstructs the classic circus, to breathe new life and amaze spectators.

Cirque du Soleil, founded in 1984 by Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste- in Montreal, is recognized worldwide for its contemporary circus shows. By combining artistic performances, breathtaking acrobatics, and innovative staging, the Cirque du Soleil redefined the standards of traditional circus. Each performance is a fusion of music, dance, and visual arts, captivating millions of spectators around the world. Today, with a multitude of touring productions such as Procession at the Accor Arena, Cirque du Soleil is a symbol of artistic excellence and creativity.

Our opinion

In an unrecognizable Bercy, cut in two by a rectangular stage, Cirque du Soleil impresses from the moment you enter the room, where a purplish and richly decorated curtain sits, with superb chandeliers on the ceiling. We quickly notice spaces to the left and right, near the stage, next to the spectators in the orchestra, where there are instruments: a violin, a drum set, a microphone… soon joined by friendly clowns.

And when the curtain rises, the magic begins to act immediately. Far from the classic circuses under a big top, that of the Sun break the codesto our greatest pleasure. With live music and magnificent singing in Italian, we immerse ourselves in the story of Mauro, a clown who imagines his funeral, alongside his company and his friends. Far from being sad, the spectacle sparkles with magicwith angels descending from the sky, juggling, devilishly impressive mid-air acrobatics on chandeliers or in a flying bed, and endearing characters.

Between the two hours of show which pass at the speed of light, a 20-minute intermission allows you to get a little refreshment! If the whole spectacle is dazzling, many touches d’humour come to entertain the public, the high point being when a small person within the company, attached to huge balloons, offers us an interactive number, where the public must push him by the feet to allow him to fly away again. Laughter bursting out in the middle of paintings full of poetry which follow one another!

Enough to become a child again for a few hours, with the eyes full of wonder ! Don’t miss their visit to the capital!
