According to The Dispatcha 33-year-old farmer from Couserans was selected to represent the month of October in the 2025 edition of the Belles des Prés calendar. This initiative highlights women in the agricultural world and aims to break the stereotypes linked to this profession, which is often perceived as masculine.
Based near Montjoie in Ariège, this professional decided to settle at the heart of her operation to promote her profession. A former fashion designer and photo model, she chose to retrain in agriculture to offer her children an environment close to nature.
A passion for agriculture and the Ariège region
With her partner, a carpenter by trade, she took over a farm which they renovated together. Faced with the challenges of the agricultural world, they diversified their activity by opening a restaurant, highlighting the products of their farm and those of the Ariège region.
Today, more than 80% of the ingredients used in their establishment come directly from their farm located in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees. Through her participation in the calendar and her local involvement, the farmer hopes to inspire other women to follow their passion for agriculture.
