This week, Parigo is taking off well-deserved for its 250th issue! The sky, a new El Dorado for our daily transport? As the commissioning of the first cable car in Île-de- at the end of 2025 looms and a swarm of flying taxis is announced above our heads, Parigo questions the relevance of these means of air travel .

To begin, we will board the first gondola in Île-de-France which will connect Villeneuve Saint-Georges to Créteil in 18 minutes. The work is nearing completion.

This cable car will have cabins with only 10 seats, where other cities have chosen much larger cabins: so can we really talk about public transport? And does this cable foreshadow others in the region? This is what we will see with the general director of Île-de-France Mobilités, Laurent Probst.

We will then gain altitude aboard the very controversial flying taxis, expected to soon fly overhead. Its promoters still believe in it despite this summer's fiasco: the machine is still not approved. The first paying passengers are clearly not coming tomorrow.

Finally, we will look at the very chic heliport: 7,000 helicopters take off there every year. Flying taxis will also perhaps stop there one day, to the great dismay of local residents who want it closed. This will not be the case, even if three hectares will be returned to the neighboring park. The mayor of the 15th arrondissement, Philippe Goujon, is our guest.
