After almost 20 years of operation of the thermal baths of Berthemont-les-BainsValVital leaves the Vésubie valley. The group stops its activity this Friday, November 8 at the end of the thermal season. The arrival of ValVital in Berthemont-les-Bains dates back to 2005. The group announced its departure via a press release. ValVital thanks the Department of Alpes-Maritimes and the mayor of Roquebillière.
A new buyer must be appointed
The next cure seasonwhich starts next March will therefore be managed by another group. The Alpes-Maritimes department has launched a call for tenders to manage the thermal baths as part of a public service delegation. Roquebillière town hall ensures that serious companies are interested.
The spa resort of the Alpes-Maritimes welcomes more than a thousand spa guests each year. After the storms Alex, Aline and after the Covid, there has been renewal since 2023. A new building to accommodate spa guests has been built, a residence right next to the Thermal Center. The residence was inaugurated in April 2024.
