On Friday November 15, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Laalle Duplantier, at the Landes prefecture, the Departmental Commercial Development Commission (CDAC) will meet to study the creation of a commercial complex in Aire-sur-l'Adour.
The Departmental Commercial Development Commission (CDAC) of Landes will meet on Friday November 15, 2024, at 10 a.m., in the Duplantier room of the Prefecture of Landes, to examine a large-scale project aimed at enriching the commercial offer of the municipality from Aire-sur-l’Adour. This meeting is crucial for local development and to validate the creation of a commercial complex, including two recognized brands: Picard and JMT.
This examination comes following the request for the creation of this commercial complex, filed by the Société Civile Immobilière (SCI) DRACAU, represented by Olivier Mazard, aiming to establish two new points of sale in the territory of Aire-sur-l 'Adour.
Presentation of the brands
The PICARD brand is well known for its expertise in the distribution of high quality frozen products. With a wide range of products ranging from vegetables to ready meals, PICARD has become a key player for consumers looking for practical, diversified and qualitative food solutions. The arrival of this brand in Aire-sur-l'Adour would offer residents simplified access to healthy and varied frozen food, while boosting local commerce.
JMT is a brand specializing in the sale of products for pets. The store offers a wide selection of food, accessories and care to meet the specific needs of each species. The presence of a JMT point of sale would thus provide a response to animal owners in the sector, who could benefit from a choice of suitable products and expertise in animal welfare, directly in their municipality.
The project, led by SCI DRACAU and Olivier Mazard, aims to boost the commercial offering of Aire-sur-l'Adour by offering complementary brands meeting the food and animal welfare needs of residents. It will also create local jobs in the sales and service sectors. This also aims to improve the attractiveness of the municipality, thus encouraging the local economy and making the area more attractive for new residents.
This project, if validated by the CDAC, could constitute a real opportunity for Aire-sur-l'Adour. The meeting on Friday, November 15 will therefore be decisive for the commercial future of the town and will make it possible to decide on the interest and viability of this two-brand commercial complex.
