Oust in Brocéliande

No longer just call it De l’Oust à brocéliande community. From now on, we must add to this title: “Morbihan Vert”. This is the new brand adopted by the OBC to make its territory more attractive. It was officially presented on Tuesday evening during an evening organized by the OBC on the theme “Living, working and innovating in the region” in Monteneuf to which around a hundred guests, elected officials s of course but also representatives of companies or institutions from the region attended. The brand has been registered and it will now gradually be registered on the documents of the community of which it becomes the symbol. The OBC also hopes that the economic fabric adheres to this brand and argues that a number of companies have expressed their interest…
This brand is the result of two years of a study entrusted to a specialist on the subject, Marc Marynower whose agency created the Bretagne brand. Several meetings and workshops were organized throughout this period to assess the specificities of the territory, its strong points, its weak points in terms of urban planning, demographics and tourism. Over the course of this study, the profile of the OBC territory took shape. There we find, among other things, well-being, nature, a strong regional identity and belonging to a department whose name is known, but which is difficult to place spontaneously… And the conclusion that the name “Morbihan vert” is indeed the one that best fits this territory. It will be added to the current name De l'Oust à Brocéliande
Tuesday evening, the president of the OBC, Jean-Luc Bléher explained the reasons which pushed the community of municipalities to embark on this study, the author of which presented the conclusions (listen to in our video). A round table was then organized before a photo session allowing those who wished to have their photo taken with the new logo.
It remains to be seen what the cost of this operation is. According to information given during a municipal council meeting, it would be “around 30,000 euros”. “It's less”, says the side of the OBC which, when questioned on this point, procrastinates to give the exact figure, arguing that it is a “good deal”, the responsible for studies having made a great effort on its performance. Normally the figure should be provided to us “with the explanations that allow us to understand it”, we were told.
