Ongoing investigation
Taken care of by the firefighters, the injured man, whose life is not in danger, was transported to the Édouard-Herriot hospital, where he was admitted for recovery. An investigation was opened by the DCT (Territorial Crime Division, formerly Departmental Security) to identify the individuals on the run and specify their motive.
Did they intend to kill their victim or did they deliberately aim for the legs, as a warning? This is one of the questions that the current investigation will have to answer.
