Luka Karabatic, 36, left the French handball team gathering a few hours before his debut in the EHF Euro Cup. “Luka has been at a sustained pace since the start of the season. I wanted to offer him some time to rest in view of future deadlines both with his club PSG and with the French team”explained Guillaume Gille, coach of the Blues.

There were 20 at the start for this international sequence, but the contingent was reduced to 17 elements (goalkeepers Wesley Pardin and Valentin Kieffer also joined their club).
