Roland Lescure, deputy for French people living outside France, is the guest of “4 V” on France 2, Wednesday November 6.
Deputy for the French in North America, Roland Lescure explains how the American presidential election can directly concern expatriates. “Donald Trump has already indicated that if he were elected, he would tighten the belt very hard on immigration”recalls the one who is also vice-president of the National Assembly. Before adding: “All the French people who live here are immigrants.”
While some are French-American, many have green cards, work permits, including temporary work permits. “When he was first elected, he made a 'Muslim ban' by prohibiting all nationals of certain Muslim countries from entering American territory”he emphasizes.
