According to the press release, Mr. Cambon stressed the importance of taking advantage of this visit and making it a strong moment to highlight the particularity of bilateral relations and their historical, economic, cultural and humanitarian extensions.

For his part, Mr. Mayara praised the level of Moroccan-French relations and the renewed dynamic they are experiencing, emphasizing the importance of working for their development in the service of common interests, while expressing the willingness of the House of Advisors, in all its components, to carry out all parliamentary initiatives likely to strengthen the promising directions of these relations, in particular by increasing exchanges of visits, coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.

In this sense, the President of the House of Advisors insisted on the importance of the next session of the Moroccan-French Parliamentary Forum “as a framework for multidimensional dialogue to pursue common parliamentary action in the service of relations of cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries”.
