A major drug seizure was announced on Saturday November 2, 2024 by the prefecture of Reunion Island. Local authorities indicated in a press release that an operation carried out at sea on Thursday October 31, 2024, some 180 km from the north of the island, resulted in the discovery of 200 kg of various drugs in a boat. Among the substances found were cannabis, heroin and methamphetamine.
A fight against destabilization
