“Marseille(s), I offer you a verse”: Friday November 8, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. in Saint-Martin-de-Crau, December 8 at 5 p.m. in Châteauneuf-le-Rouge) and the 19th in Gémenos. nicoleferroni.com

It all started two years ago when the Théâtre du Gymnase in Marseille closed for renovations. Its off-site programming regularly takes place in Marseille bars, with artists who play the game by performing on a small stage, almost unexpectedly in front of customers. And for the occasion, Nicole Ferroni is writing a new stage show around a very personal, funny and offbeat poetry. His only one on stage entitled “Marseille(s), I offer you a verse” continues in the theaters between witty words and truculent characters, always with an irresistible desire to clown.

Nicole Ferroni declaims her love for Marseille around texts from her pen, those of other authors and some historical episodes that shook the city. As a comedian of course, but also as a formidable author, storyteller and sometimes even singer, she takes us on a journey through Marseille by oar and rhyme.

A funny tribute to Marseille
