Activities for families will be offered on Wednesday afternoons in November and December at the Pont du Gard.
We start on Wednesday, November 6 at 2 p.m. with the “I make my antique game” workshop. Each child leaves with their game of skill and strategy in a leather purse. The following Wednesday, November 13 at 2 p.m., a crown of plant heads will be made as in Roman times.
Children will be able to make their own oil lamp on Wednesday November 20 at 2 p.m., by molding it in the style of ceramists of the time. Then on November 27, still at 2 p.m., they will make an ancient mosaic.
In December, it will be time to make a rattan bird feeder, it will be Wednesday 4th at 2 p.m. Then, on December 11 at 2 p.m., the children will make their leather bulla, this small pouch that the Romans used to carry their lucky charms. All these workshops are intended for children aged 6 to 12.
The last workshop of the year will be on Wednesday December 18 at 2 p.m., with Fabric'à histoire, a shadow theater based on a story around the Pont du Gard. For children aged 4 to 6 years.
