Villeneuve-sur-Lot. A success for the local Mission’s aperitif

Wednesday June 5, the Mission Locale du Pays Villeneuvois and its partners organized the 2nd edition of the Apéro Job – without CV, open to all, on the terrace of the bars Le Petit Paris, Le Tortoni and Le Glacier.

The principle of this evening: an original concept around a drink to bring together job seekers and business managers. No more very formal meetings, no need for a CV, a recipe for breaking the codes and getting away from conventional interviews.

And the promise was kept. In fact, more than 200 job seekers, of all ages, came to meet the 25 companies who wanted to try the adventure of atypical recruitment.

The direct feedback from companies is very positive and the majority of them have already made several appointments with a view to hiring.

“We found several interesting, employable profiles, we will contact some of them again and we hope that this event can be repeated in the coming years” is what EREA recruiters Marie-Claude-Leriche declared which highlight in particular the quality of the organization, the diversity of profiles and the interest of informal meetings.

A sunny end to the day, around a drink, on the terrace of bars who were just as satisfied with their collaboration on this event and who have already renewed their participation for next year.

The Local Mission of Pays Villeneuvois and its partners thank the businesses, bars and the public of job seekers but also the young talents of the region who closed this evening with music.
