TRIATHLON / SUPERTRI – Two weeks after her world title, Cassandre Beaugrand did not lose the rhythm by winning the final round of the Supertri, in Neom (Saudi Arabia). Among the men, Léo Bergère took 3rd place.
The second part of 2024 will have been literally exceptional for Cassandre Beaugrand. Crowned Olympic champion and world champion in less than three months, the French triathlete was not yet finished with her season. Committed to the Supetrithe latter was keen to end the competition on a good note at Neom (Saudi Arabia).

The Saudi event was the last of five on the program. The Frenchwoman no longer had any hope of success in the general due to her disqualification in Toulouse. But that did not prevent him from once again dominating the competition to claim victory on Saudi soil. Beaugrand thus won the bet by eight seconds ahead of Jeanne Lehair. In men, Alex Yee won in a stifling final sprint as three of them finished in the same second! Hayden Wilde finished 2nd while Leo Bergere failed on the last step of the podium. Overall, Wilde secured the coronation with authority, ahead of the Frenchman by seven points.
