Initiated in 2023, this call for applications aims to support and promote contemporary artistic creation while supporting the selected artist towards dissemination and professionalization.

Through its association Vaisseau Mère, Töfie was selected for the first edition of the Re.Gards system in 2024 The promise of a parallel universe hovers over his music. To join them, all you have to do is apply. But who is the call for applications aimed at? Any company or artist domiciled in the Occitanie region, without constraints of discipline or theme, within the limit of the reception capacity of the premises, is eligible for this aid. The financial allocation and support for the selected company includes a grant of 7,500 euros allocated by the network of reception structures.
Each of the locations will provide accommodation. The accommodation and pricing arrangements will depend on the reception locations, a dedicated work space with desk and internet connection, and, finally, personalized support to be defined according to the structures.
The partner structures of “Re.Gards” are numerous and varied. La Berline in La Grand'Combe, la Dame d'Angle in Brignon, la Filature du Mazel in Val d'Aigoual, la Moba in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and even le Spot in Nîmes.
The “Les Lendemains” association was created in 2002 to present live circus, aerial and flying trapeze shows. The multiple skills of its managers and the growth of the place which became “La Berline” made it possible to develop the design and manufacture of circus structures and apparatus as well as the reception of professional companies in residence. Originally a mining site, the site has given way to rehabilitation in order to create a plural place dedicated to arts and culture in the broad sense. La Berline also has a certified training center called “Flying Trapeze Arts”.
The “Lady of England” is a place of residence and manufacturing of street arts established in a rural area of Gard since 2018. The structure is engaged in the creation and support of creation in the field of live performance with particular attention to formats designed and created for public spaces. Based in Brignon, the venue is located at the crossroads of the conurbation of Alès, Nîmes and the Pays d'Uzès and the venues and festivals that make up them. The place, made up of various work spaces, allows for numerous artistic exchanges.
La Filature du Mazel is a third place located in the heart of the Cévennes in the town of Val d'Aigoual. Created in 2011, this association contributes to the cultural vitality and cohesion of its territory through numerous actions. In a former silk stocking factory, it regularly welcomes artists in creative residence and runs a year-round community of cultural actors or those working in the field of ESS Recently labeled “Territorial Innovation Pole ” by the Ministry of Culture, this third place is designing a project which combines artistic words with scientific knowledge in the service of better knowledge of climate issues.
La Moba, a cultural cooperative dedicated to current music, was created and established in 2017 in Bagnols-sur-Cèze in Gard. Born from the gathering of 25 cooperators around a desire to offer a cultural, festive, meeting and sharing place in an area classified as a cultural white zone. With a 450-seat performance hall, a cultural factory hosting a digital studio and a creation space, the cooperative aims to offer an innovative and eclectic musical program, both national and international artists, as well as local creations and initiatives. .
Le Spot as well as the eponymous managing association were born in 2013. Le Spot is a hybrid third place of 500 m2 with transversal actions (cultural, economic and social) located in the Gambetta-Richelieu district (priority district of the politics of city) in Nîmes. The place was designed in tandem with “L'Expo de Ouf!”, a historic Nîmes festival which has brought together every year for 10 years thousands of residents of the district, the metropolis and tourists around an artistic journey of frescoes monumental works created by street artists and punctuated by multiple forms of urban art.
Each of these structures benefits from funding of 20,000 euros per year from the Departmental Council for the dissemination of artistic creation in the region.
