Last Saturday evening, a five-year-old child, a passenger in his father's car, was seriously injured by a gunshot to the head during a chase that occurred shortly after a shooting linked to drug trafficking in Rennes. The 29-year-old man, well known to the authorities, was leaving his home in Maurepas to reach the neighboring town of Vézin-le-Coquet when his vehicle was chased by another car. On board it were several hooded and armed individuals.
…and a young man is stabbed to death
A week later, the day after the visit of the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau to the popular district of Maurepas, a young man in his twenties died of serious injuries after being stabbed at a trading point. in the Pontchaillou district, west of Rennes. According to a police source, the attack took place in the lobby of a building, where the victim received several stab wounds.

Thursday October 31, around 11 p.m., a shooting broke out on the terrace of the “Otentik” burger restaurant, Place Coimbra in Poitiers (Vienna), seriously injuring five people. The next morning, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau confirmed that these shootings were linked to drug trafficking.

Two shootings near Valencia, two dead
On the night of Thursday to Friday, during Halloween evening, Nicolas was seriously injured by bullets in front of a nightclub in Saint-Péray, near Valence, and succumbed to his injuries on Saturday November 2. This young man of 22, rugby player at Rugby Club Romans-Péage, played in the same club as Thomas, victim of another tragedy the previous year.
Friday afternoon, another shooting claimed the life of an 18-year-old in Valencia. Seriously injured by bullets on the public highway, he was in cardiac arrest when emergency services arrived, but they were unable to resuscitate him. According to a police source, this young person, known to the justice services, could have been the victim of a settling of scores, potentially linked to the shooting that occurred the day before in front of the Saint-Péray nightclub.
