Two dead in a dramatic accident on the Pôle Mécanique d'Ales circuit this Sunday.
A serious accident occurred this Sunday, November 17, shortly after 3 p.m., on the Pôle Mécanique d'Alès circuit. According to our information, a Renault Alpine missed a turn before crashing into the safety barriers. The results are tragic: two people lost their lives.
The circuit's rescue teams, the Gard fire brigade and a SAMU helicopter, quickly intervened. Despite their resuscitation attempts and an extrication operation, the two victims were declared dead on the spot.
According to witnesses present at the scene of the tragedy, the car approached a bend in the circuit at high speed before crashing.
