The 24th Antiques-flea market and the 6th Book Fair are being held until this Sunday, November 3 in Bort-les-Orgues. An event not to be missed for lovers of ancient objects and literature.
The Antiques Fair, 24th of its name, continues this Sunday, November 3 in Bort-les-Orgues. Lovers of rarities and beautiful objects can hunt for a few more hours within the grounds of the great Hall Joseph-Lachaze. This major event of the All Saints' Day weekend is complemented by the 6th edition of the Book Fair which brings together 26 writers.
“The passion for antiques took hold of the inhabitants of the region when the association, then chaired by Didier Eymard, created a salon in 2000 at the foot of the Orgues. Since then, enthusiasts are not mistaken and do not hesitate to sometimes come from far away,” recalls Philippe Dubernard, president of the Sabba association (Salon Antiquités Brocante Bort Artense), with a dozen volunteers, and responsible for now of the organization of this autumn event.
