He was one of the 19 players released by the staff of the French XV to play during this ninth day of the Top 14. Cameron Woki will not see Marcoussis again next week following his red card received at the end of the match against Pau.
Cameron Woki will not join the Marcoussis training center next week. The second row of Racing 92, left at the disposal of his club like 19 other players by the staff of the XV of France, received two yellow cards in twelve minutes on the lawn of the Stade du Hameau. He will therefore be suspended for an as yet unknown period, as explained in the LNR regulations, article 720.5: “A red card for accumulating two yellow cards during the same match (for the same person listed on the match sheet) results in a one-week suspension of the person subject to disciplinary procedure 127 by the Disciplinary and Regulations Commission.”
Hard blow for the Racingman
The first sanction fell in the 69th minute of play, after a series of faults accumulated by his team. On his return, the Ile-de-France residents suffered repeated attacks from the Palois, in search of a defensive bonus point. Under the pressure of repeated penalties, Mr. Trainini ended up drawing a second card, leading to the exclusion of Woki for poor positioning in a maul.
A hard blow for the Racingman returning to the France group after Pierre Bochaton's packagehit in the back. The Federation will reveal on Monday the name of its replacement in the list of players called up to prepare for the France-Japan match, scheduled for November 9 at the Stade de France.
