Shortly after 1:30 p.m., two vehicles collided head-on in circumstances that remain to be determined. The driver of one of the two cars, who was incarcerated, died on the spot. He was 63 years old.
Three other people were injured in this accident: the two passengers of the deceased, his wife aged around sixty and a 50-year-old woman and the driver of the other car, a 44-year-old man.
All were transported by firefighters to the hospitals of Romans and Valence. In total, around thirty firefighters were mobilized. An investigation was opened by the Romans company gendarmes.
