Organized for over 30 years by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts Auvergne Rhône – Alpes, the “Artinov” artisanal innovation competition has already enabled more than 570 winners to promote and develop their businesses.

Promote innovation

With a new format and the support of the Region and the State and in partnership with Groupama, Banque Populaire and SOCAMA Auvergne – Rhône Alpes, this competition affirms the desire to support and promote the innovation of artisanal businesses. It seeks to reward companies whose capacities for innovation, development and adaptation to today's world are the most striking.

This awards ceremony concerning the Cantal department took place for the 2nd consecutive year at the La Vidalie room in Arpajon-sur-Cère under the leadership of Thierry Perbet, president of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Cantal and Alain Chapeau, as Innovation referent of the CMA, this October 31, 2024.

She saw the presence of Bruno Faure, president of the departmental council of Cantal, Isabelle Lantuejoul mayor of Arpajon sur Cère, Élodie Mareau sub-prefect of the district of and representatives of the active forces of crafts at the departmental level.

The winning Cantal companies

– Technological or process innovation prize: Fanny Nicolezeau, BE PLOPwooden toys for wooden motor skills games.

– Product or service innovation prize: Franck Paul, L'ANTRE DU VIKINGpromotion of local products for the knife with a gentian root handle.

– Know-how innovation prize: Jean Jacques Vermeersch, LOUIS COUDERC DISTILLERYliquor maker, for his 100% Cantal fondue. Please note that this company will represent the Cantal department at the regional awards ceremony which will take place in on December 12 at the Institut Lumière.

– Environmental Innovation Prize: Soazig Paquette, LA SAVONNERIE DES ADRETS, for the manufacture of committed organic and quality cosmetics using local raw materials (cow's milk soap).

– Jury’s Favorite Prize: Fabien Kaczmarek, APIS TERRA, for the production of mead and honey vinegar.

3,800 companies, i.e. +15% over the last 5 years, 1 billion euros in turnover. 4 sectors of activity, food: 15%, manufacturing: 14%, services: 34%, construction: 37%.
