Social networks trail behind them numerous cases of scams and ambushes. The latest one in , for which three young people have just been arrested, dates back to two months ago.

At the beginning of September, a young Vauclusian with a disability was not suspicious when a vague acquaintance began to chat with him before proposing a meeting. The appointment was made on September 4 at Le Pontet, but around 5 p.m., instead of seeing his sweetheart arrive after a final message on Snapchat about his clothing, the latter fell into the clutches of two young men ready to everything.

The victim managed to escape

Their faces hidden under hoods, the attackers first hit their victim before leading her aside to a park. There, at gunpoint, the two individuals demanded money. Seeing that their victim did not have any, the decision was made by one of the attackers to take her to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash.

Once arriving at the counter, the victim, whose means of payment are limited, was only able to withdraw €20… Enough to arouse even more anger from one of his attackers who, once again, loaded in the vehicle. But this time, the victim did not give up. Managing to get the car keys, she locked her thief inside and fled.

A complaint file with the gendarmes and two months later, the bait, 18 years old and originally from Besançon, and his two Pontetian friends, one 16 years old and the other 18 years old, were identified and then arrested this week by the gendarmes of the company.

While awaiting their judgment, the two adults were imprisoned. They will explain themselves on Monday in immediate appearance before the Avignon judicial court. As for the minor, under judicial supervision, he will be summoned before the juvenile judge.
