It all started from the following observation: according to figures from theNational Food Safety Agency (Considered), 66 % des adolescents run a health risk due to a combination of excessive inactivity and screen addiction.

These data, which date from 2022, pushed the Intersport brand et the Ministry of Sports to implement actions to encourage sports practice in schools, particularly in Seine-et-Marne.

As part of the “2 hours of extra sport for middle school students” program launched by the government at the start of the 2023 school year, Intersport donated 14,000 bicycles has 700 colleges everywhere in placing sport as an ally for the well-being of adolescents.

Among the beneficiary establishments, the Louis-Armand college of Savigny-le-Temple and the Nicolas-Fouquet college of Mormant, which each received 20 VTT et 20 helmets on September 24 and October 16, 2024, on behalf of the Intersport store in Boissénartin Cesson.

The bikes were designed and assembled by the Manufacture française du cycle in -Atlantique, which Intersport has owned for more than 10 years. They will be used by students during their PE lessons and as part of the “2 hours more sport at school” operation.
