Before the arrival of winter, several works are planned on the departmental roads of Orne. The Department announces work across the four corners of the territory.

Cantons of Bagnoles de l'Orne

  • Greenway – Municipalities of Saint-Roch-sur-Egrenne, Rouellé (Domfront-en-Poiraie) and Saint-Gilles-des-Marais

Repair of three consecutive works on the greenway, until November 29. The work consists of the installation of scaffolding and decking above the waterways, protective containment, sandblasting of the entire structure, passivation and repainting on the intrados. of all the metal parts of 3 structures. No diversion of cycle traffic, but “pied à terre” passage on reduced width. Work financed by the Department: €373,000.

  • RD 976 – Rives-d’Andaine

Repair of the asphalt wearing course in the La Chapelle-d'Andaine crossing, from November 22 to 26. This work, part of which will be carried out at night, requires traffic to be diverted. Work financed by the Department: €214,600.

Repair of a work on the Rd227 until November 8. The work consists of installing waterproofing as well as repairing sidewalks and roads. The work is carried out under deviation; alternating traffic outside construction hours. Work financed by the Department: €28,000.

Canton of Flers 1

  • RD 962 – Le Châtellier

Repair of the asphalt wearing course in the Châtellier crossing, from November 18 to 20. Setting up a diversion.

Work financed by the Department: €123,100.

Canton of Flers-2

  • RD 924 – Saint-Georges-des-Groseillers

Carrying out purges and repairs to the roadway on the north-west bypass of Flers on November 12 and 13, 2024. Implementation of alternating traffic.

Work financed by the Department: €80,000.

Canton of L'Aigle

  • RD 926b – Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle

From November 4 (for 4 months), development on the RD926b in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle of a roundabout providing access to the Aulard activity zone. This work is being carried out by the Community of Communes of Pays de L'Aigle, as part of the extension of the activity zone. Implementation of alternations and local deviations, depending on the progress of the construction site. Financial contribution from the Department: €187,500.

Canton of Rai

  • RD 212 – Saint-Germain-de-Clairefeuille

From November 18 to 29, development and rectification of the bends of the RD 212 near the level crossing of the Route des Germinois (PN103), to facilitate the crossing of vehicles and improve road safety. Setting up a diversion. Work financed by the Department: €35,900.

Canton of Vimoutiers

From November 18 to 29, development of the RD 932/RD 32 intersection in Orgères, aiming to facilitate the turning of long vehicles and improve road safety. Implementation of alternations and local deviations, depending on the progress of the construction site. Work financed by the Department: €67,600.

Other works

  • Pavement repairs

The road reprofiling campaign continues in November. These curative works, as part of routine road maintenance, consist of repairing occasional deformations (bank subsidence, rutting, wane) by making pieces of bituminous materials (coated). This month, the two workshops which travel the departmental roads are working in the Bellême sector, for one, and in the Bellême and Sées sectors, for the other. Implementation of alternates or local diversions, depending on the width of the roads.

Mowing work for the 3rd and final cut of the year, which began in August, continues until the end of November. They concern all departmental roads (more than 5,850 km) and consist of mowing shoulders, ditches and embankments as well as cutting the growth of the year's hedges.
