Generally, Socialist Party congresses are a guilty pleasure for those who love politics. They always reserve improbable shots of billiards, sometimes a few dramatic twists and above all merciless wars between the characters. The next one, scheduled for 2025, probably in the spring, will have an even more particular flavor as its outcome could profoundly change the game on the left in the run-up to the 2027 presidential election.
