Maine-et-Loire. The 8th edition of the Angers Horse Show, always eagerly awaited, will be held from November 9 to 11

23,000 horse enthusiasts (and future enthusiasts!) passed through the doors of the Exhibition Center in 2023. The opportunity to take advantage of the numerous events, sporting events, conferences and to meet professionals in the sector. 250 exhibitors are in fact present at the show, specializing in horse and rider equipment, transport, training, well-being, etc. Many worlds are also highlighted: horse racing, western, breeding, shows, show jumping…

The Angers Horse Show: a unique place for exchanges

We Horse Green, a space dedicated to discussions around solidarity and eco-responsibility, renews the Greenitiatives. For three days, the leaders of sustainable initiatives in the equestrian world will be able to present and promote their actions during a 20-minute interview with a journalist in the Agora of the Show. We Horse Green also has 4 other spaces: Do It Yourself workshops, reuse of equestrian equipment, an exhibition as well as a meeting place with associations. Building on its success, “Capsule Innovation by Hippolia” is being renewed in 2024. The space offers visitors the opportunity to discover innovations less than 2 years old developed by startups or member companies of the Hippolia Cluster. An exhibition set up by IFCE & Equiressources will focus on the attractiveness of professions in the equine sector. The Pays de la region alone has 4,000 direct jobs, the Salon du Cheval represents a great opportunity for young people and people undergoing professional retraining to find out about possible career paths.

The CSO celebrates!

For show jumping enthusiasts, 3 days will be dedicated to the discipline in the Sport and Competitions arena with 600 couples expected at the start. Saturday will offer from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Club-Pony events, two preparatory events, events reserved for Shetlands and another for retired racing horses. Sundays and Mondays will be dedicated to Club-Pony events from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. respectively.

Equestrian Stars

The Étoiles Équestres evening show, the highlight of the major equestrian performance competition featuring young talents, will celebrate its 5th anniversary this year. The evening will be held for the first time on Sunday November 10 at 8:30 p.m. 6 to 8 candidates, pre-selected in advance, will perform on the Amphitéa career and will be rated by a jury made up of professionals from the equestrian world and performing arts and a member of the public drawn at random via a competition on social networks. The 2,500 spectators will also have the opportunity to participate in the talent rating, by evaluating their performances via a dedicated application. As tradition dictates, it is the winner of the previous edition who will open the festivities. We will therefore have the pleasure of reuniting with the Tonellerie & Compagnie troupe which has established itself in 2023. The evening will close with the show of an artist who will chair the Étoiles Équestres jury.
