The 25-year-old young woman, born in London to an Angevin mother and a Cameroonian father, lives in Angers. She works as a project manager in artificial intelligence for Louis Vuitton.
From the height of 1.81 m, Mélissa Atta Bessiom has long been self-conscious about her size… and her feet. “I wear size 43. When I was in middle school, I wore men's shoes and people made fun of me. Gradually, I realized that it was an asset”, she confided to our colleagues at West France. Today, she counts push other women to gain self-confidence in turn.
Mélissa Atta Bessiom will represent the Pays de la Loire region in the competition Miss France 2025, which will be held on Saturday December 14 at the Arena Futuroscope, in Vienne. The last coronation of a Loire woman dates back to 1993 with the Nazairian Valérie Claisse.
