A small change is beginning in Angers (Maine-et-Loire). From Monday November 4, 2024, it is no longer with the PaybyPhone application but with the Easypark application that motorists will be able to remotely regulate their parking on public roads, reports West France.
Prices do not change
As the contract with PaybyPhone expired, the City launched a call for tenders and chose Easypark, available on Android and iOS and already used in more than 2,200 cities in Europe. On the new app, described as “easy to use and ergonomic”users register with their license plate and means of payment.
Each time they park on a public road, they then only have to confirm the location of their vehicle and select the parking duration before paying. During checks, officers only have to scan the license plate to verify that the driver is legal. The rates in force in Angers do not change, despite the arrival of this new app.
