Since May 24, 2024, the Gramat Animal Park installed a statue of bison on the Champ-Bas roundabout, replacing the bear. The statue was made by theartist Christian Cébé.

Emblematic activities of the town at the four roundabouts of the Gramat diversion

A bear was installed Champ-Bas roundabout (intersection between the RD 840 deviation and rue A. Dumas), roundabout bearing the image of the Parc Animalier de Gramat. Since May 24, 2024, a statue of a bison, an animal just as emblematic of the Park as the bear, has replaced that of the bear. This statue of a bison was made by Christian Cébé, an iron sculptor, based in Serilhac in Corrèze. This work belongs to and was installed on the roundabout by the Parc Animalier de Gramat.

With the upcoming installation of a statue dedicated to the horse at the roundabout on the road to Figeac and Bio, with the roundabouts of Combe Roustide (roundabout towards Brive) and Fouilhadou (Clément Brouqui) respectively dedicated to the lamb of Quercy and the CNICG dogs, this installation of this bison completes the development of the 4 roundabouts of the Gramat deviation. Visitors can thus remember four emblematic activities of the city from Gramat: tourism with the Animal Park, horses with the Racing Society, dogs and more generally Defense with the CNICG of Gramat and agriculture with the Lamb of Quercy.
