The Pamiers Book Fair, which will take place on June 8 and 9, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. “Imaginary and imagination” is the theme chosen for this anniversary. Authors from the region will be present at the media library but also on the Castella high school site. The show will even begin on June 7, the Marcel-Pagnol nursery and elementary schools in Pamiers, la Tour du Crieu, Villeneuve du Paréage and des Carmes will welcome Emma Robert and Julie Leglise for a debate and discussions. Laurent Queyssi will host a literary breakfast on June 8, from 10 a.m., at the Pamiers media library. Author, comic book scriptwriter, he is also a great connoisseur of the imagination as a translator. Also on Saturday, Jean-Louis Le Quellec, Bernard Lahire and Julien D’Huy will host a round table on the origins of myth and imagination. Sunday morning will be the prize giving ceremony for the News and spelling competitions. This awards ceremony will be held in the company of student musicians, actors and dancers from the Gabriel-Fauré de Pamiers conservatory.
