The State of Senegal has just revealed the first figures for the exploitation of Sangomar oil. Indeed, in its report reviewed by iGFM, the Ministry of Oil informs that from June to September 2024, Senegal produced 8.17 million barrels of oil from the Sangomar project.
And in this start-up phase, monthly production gradually increased with the sequenced opening of producing wells (11 active out of 12) until reaching a plateau of around 3 million barrels per month in August and September, the department reports.
