This Monday morning, the alert was given when a victim was lying on the sidewalk, at the corner of Régnault and Terre au curé streets, opposite the premises of the General Directorate of Human Resources (DGRH) for ministry personnel. of National Education and Youth, Higher Education and Research, a stone's throw from Porte d'Ivry. On site, emergency services tried, in vain, to resuscitate the victim. Death was pronounced at 8:40 a.m.

“At first glance, it looked like a simple discomfort on the public highway,” recalls the mayor of the 13th arrondissement, Jérôme Coumet, who revealed the affair on Monday in a post on Facebook, spotted by Actu.fr. According to the first responder police officers, the victim did not present “any trauma to the chest” or to the “lower or upper limbs”.

His head, however, is stained with traces of blood. But according to the first findings, no “open wound or depression of the skull” was noted, according to a source close to the case. However, “to the touch”, the victim's skull appears to have been fractured with an intensity likely to cause a “cerebral hemorrhage” and “swelling of this region”.
