As the winter period approaches, the Montpellier Humanitarian Association (AHM) is calling for everyone's solidarity.
“Every night, dozens of people sleep in the cold streets of Montpellier. You can be a big help by donating blanket(s),” calls on the president of the AHM, Aïcha Baghaz. The association will then be able to offer them to people in need during its daily food distributions.
Daily distribution of meals
For more than nine years, AHM has been tirelessly committed to distributing complete meals every day, providing dignity and comfort to those who need it most. The AHM story begins in 2014, when a few friends got together for occasional distributions.
Since 2014
It was in 2015, during the famous “big cold” episode, that these distributions took on a daily dimension. Not to mention Covid-19 which sees the association become the only lifeline for homeless people in Montpellier.
