Martine Demonchy, RN Seine-et-Marnaise candidate, appears on Jordan Bardella’s list

The Seine-et-Marnaise candidate, Martine Demonchy, 63, regional councilor, is on the National Rally (RN) list for the European elections which will take place on Sunday June 9. Wednesday May 1, in Perpignan, Jordan Bardella announced the candidates. Thursday May 23, the running mate explained her commitment.

The RN has strengthened its European list with a candidate from Seine-et-Marne, Martine Demonchy. She is 78th out of 81, which means, as she mentions, that she “will not be elected”. However, for the party, it was “important to be able to represent the department which has a strong rural value”.

As in 2019, the first candidate on the list, Jordan Bardella, president of the RN, outgoing MEP, is “once again leading the European battle”.

The candidate indicates: “I consider that my appointment is the result of collective work with activists and the tremendous momentum that we are experiencing in Seine-et-Marne. I am in complete agreement with Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen and I share their vision of France. What we want is localism. Seine-et-Marne is experiencing growth in members and voters. The RN candidates elected in the last legislative elections prove it… I have been elected to the Regional Council since 2021, our objectivity sometimes leads us to vote favorably for amendments that go in the right direction, and to oppose, sometimes firmly, decisions that go in the right direction. against our values. For example, I intervened to reaffirm our firm opposition to the installation of wind turbines on our territory… Year after year, I participated in the various fights so that the Gaullist right, popular, social, rich in French tradition and culture , be in power for a strong France that knows how to be respected. My beliefs have never changed. »

Martine Demonchy, who arrived in Seine-et-Marne in Mée-sur-Seine in 1978, then settled in Avon and now lives in Tommery. She was a member of the RPR, cantonal delegate for the 1st constituency: “The Gaullist values then carried by Jacques Chirac brought me to politics after May 1981… In the ’80s I was more in agreement with Philippe Seguin then I moved to the National Front, now the RN. I found in Marine le Pen the vision that corresponds to me, France sovereign and strong with its values… We now have a phenomenal team, many young people under 30, particularly committed and motivated. »

The RN list, “La France Returns”, complete with 81 candidates was published on Saturday May 18 by the Ministry of the Interior, with the 36 other lists competing for the European elections.

Aymeric Durox, senator elected in Seine-et-Marne in the fourth constituency, comments: “We are impatiently awaiting the results of the European elections in Seine-et-Marne, which promise to be a real tidal wave, and which will allow us to work with great ambition in the upcoming municipal elections. »

Less than ten days before the vote, the RN dominates in the polls on the competing lists with 34% of voting intentions according to the latest poll published by theIfop-fiducial institute.
