A climber, aged 78, descended about fifty meters before being stopped by a cliff edge, which she hit. Equipped with a protective helmet, she was conscious after her fall, but injured.
Given the difficulty of accessing the site, popular with climbers, the firefighters were supported by a helicopter crew, the Dragon 34, which evacuated the victim to the North hospital in Marseille.
