REPORT ????️ The Ariège Industrialists, surrounded and accompanied by the CCI ARiège, had the pleasure of welcoming the prefect of Ariège to their collective stand, which they have been organizing at SIANE for several years and over the three days of the show. This year, new gifts due to the expansion of the “Industry Territory” perimeter were present; Couserans with the Saint-Girons paper mills who came to meet new contacts as part of their diversification. Polyvalent High Schools also have “Pro” streams.
Ariège industrialists have, as part of the action “ Territories Industries » have definitely established their presence under the label “ Ariege industry“, (The Ariège industrial territory was the winner of the Rebond Industrie call for expressions of interest, which aims to identify and support industrial projects as well as to contribute to the development of an industrial roadmap for the department.)
Industry represents 15% of employment in Ariège, and many companies find their markets as subcontractors to large aeronautics companies based in particular in the industrial basin of Toulouse and its metropolitan area.
The presence of Ariège industrialists makes it possible to highlight Ariège industrial know-how, welcome contacts, customers, suppliers of students; because recruitment in the industry is not easy today and has been for several years.
Finally, presenting a diverse industrial offer brought together under the same banner “Ariège Industrie” helps with the visibility of the different actors present, support by the CCI and the Territories (the Agency for Attractiveness of Communities of Communes and the department was also present), teaches that this presence is supported by everyone!
When we know that the objective is to re-industrialize the economy in France and that this is far from being won, the strong presence of Ariège industrialists in this type of action is all the more emblematic!
