It is the National Health Insurance Fund which affirms this, thanks to its Handifaction barometer. The latter is developed using a questionnaire, completed by patients living with a disability, or their caregivers. Between the beginning of July and the end of September 2024, more than 10,300 responses were collected, making it possible to update the inventory. In Yvelines, almost a quarter (24%) of respondents were unable to access the care they needed. In detail, 16% were refused treatment and among these patients, 23% gave up seeking treatment.
