Bastia: the Nazione collective denounces France Travail’s decorization policy

What is certain is that the occupation of the Leroy Merlin in last week will have served Nazione. This Saturday, October 19, the entrance to the Travail premises in was blocked by around twenty bricks labeled “Corsica travagliu”. A press conference by the collective followed to denounce the policy of Frenchification of jobs on the island by the public establishment.

A situation which is only getting worse according to the spokesperson for the collective, Philippe Antolini. “The spouses of gendarmes or police officers who arrive here easily find employment, as do other civil servants attracted by the sun, the beaches, but also now by the security in our streets. The Corsican language is thus banned in exchanges and sees Corsicans invited to spell their surname by people who are completely isolated from our culture. Forced to note that the procedures carried out by France Travail accentuate the decorization of jobs and encourage settlement colonization“.

Nazione therefore wants to encourage the recruitment of Corsicans within companies by calling on several of them to put in place measures to stop this phenomenon.”Like the Corsican railways, several solutions exist to improve collective relations within companies and thus ensure access to employment for Corsicans, while establishing statutory and lasting guarantees. . We will be able to take them into account. This approach, which is long-term, requires the mobilization of all stakeholders concerned and proactive action in the area of job growth.“.

The collective announces that it will carry out other actions in the coming weeks.
