Although there is a renowned Asian caterer, Le P’tit Franco-taï, until now, Le Pouliguen (-Atlantique) did not have an Asian restaurant. This is now a gap filled.

For a few days, a Franco-Laotian couple, David and Manivanh, propose a new address, Le Booda bowl thai fusion food located at the start of the Jules Sandeau quay in place of the former Les mouettes gourmandes sandwich shop.


Cooking secrets

Born in Thailand then raised in Laos, Manivahn knows all the secrets of traditional cuisine which she passed on to her companion.

Before working at Le Pouliguen, David worked in French catering, most recently in the area for several years.

They discovered Pouliguen and settled there

They discovered Le Pouliguen during their vacation and decided to settle there as soon as the opportunity presented itself. It is now done.

On the menu, a cuisine with mainly Thai specialtiesbut also more broadly Asian with among others the pad thai or even the famous Bo Good and two burgers adapted by David with a very specific sauce of candied onions, salad and typically Asian tomato to accompany burgers on a bed of meats like the pulled pork; pulled pork cooked for a long time at low temperature.

The vast majority of dishes are prepared in front of the consumer and adapted according to their tastes.
