The ship is then in the Bay of Seine, off the coast of Le Havre and more precisely not far from Cap de la Hève. “The Cross then establishes a conference call with the maritime medical consultation center (CCMM) of Toulouse and the Samu of medical coordination maritime (SCMM) of Le Havre. » The regulating doctor will agree with the crew and recommend a medical evacuation.

“Once in the area, the medical team is winched on board from the boat to take care of the patient and condition him before being hoisted by helicopter. » He was then evacuated to Le Havre hospital where he is being treated.
