From Thursday October 17 to Sunday October 20, the heart of the Vallon will beat to the rhythm of the wine tourism activities offered by the Conques-Marcillac tourist office on the occasion of the “fascinating weekend”, a flagship event of the Vignobles et discoveries label.

Centered around the values ​​of sharing and exchange, the “fascinating weekend” combines discovery of the vineyards and cultural, sporting, fun, culinary and even unusual activities.

This year, nine French wine regions are participating in this event, i.e. around sixty labeled destinations. The Conques-Marcillac destination offers five activities, so many moments of conviviality to share with family or friends!

Underground oenology

Pascal Bastide from Vert tea Jeu offers introductions to caving in the Salles-la-Source delta with a tasting of Marcillac wines underground, Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. .

Menu “tastes of Marcillac”

In a weathered and contemporary setting, the Auprès d’Angèle restaurant has concocted a special “tastes of Marcillac” menu, three dishes in which wine and grapes will be enhanced by chefs Zoé and Guillem. Audrey Besson, for her part, selected one of the vintages from each of the Marcillac-Vallon winegrowers in her menu. Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunchtime and evening, Sunday lunchtime (€56).

Biodynamic discovery tour

Yvan-Marie Rufié, winemaker of the AOP Marcillac, welcomes the curious to his vineyard, for a discovery of biodynamics and natural wine, Thursday from 2 p.m. At the forefront of organic farming, this passionate winegrower intervenes at a minimum, while respecting the soil cycle.

Food and wine pairing weekend

Sybille Gorin-Fréry, owner of the Les Grangettes guest house near Conques, offers a 2-night stay (Friday and Saturday) with brunch breakfast and a food and wine pairing dinner on Saturday evening.

Gourmet immersion in the Marcillac vineyard

The Hôtel des Bains in Pont-les-Bains offers a thematic stay for gourmets.

Grills, a walk in the vineyards with wine tasting and a semi-gastronomic meal as well as a night at the hotel are on the program. The opportunity to truly immerse yourself in our local gastronomy! (140 €/person).
