The information had been circulating for several days, but the official announcement took place this Tuesday, October 15: the next Michelin Guide ceremony, where the new starred restaurants are revealed, will take place in 2025 in . More precisely, in . The international director of the Michelin Guide, Gwendal Poullenec, was at the Château de Malbrouck to formalize this partnership with the Department of Moselle, the Region and the Eurometropolis of Metz. Partnership which is necessarily excellent news for Moselle, in terms of influence, of course. “It is an event of national scope, since all the starred chefs of are invited, but of international scope. The latter did not hide their joy at being able to take advantage of such an opportunity for the territory. “We are establishing ourselves as a sector with great tourism potential. Welcoming the Michelin Guide confirms this to us, and motivates us even more,” underlines the president of the Metz Eurometropolis. “We decided to pull out all the stops. The arrival of the Michelin Guide will allow us to promote the Moselle destination, and place it in the map of major gastronomic events in France,” adds Patrick Weiten. So that everyone can enjoy the celebration, the partner communities will offer a highlight as part of the arrival of the Michelin Guide: a gourmet village, located on the Place de la République, in Metz. “It will have this popular side, with terroir, Lorraine wine estates, all the Moselle know-how under the sponsorship of Michel Roth. It will be an opportunity for the public to discover the work of media star chefs who will come on site,” promises Alexandre Keff.

It will also be an opportunity to shine a little more light on the good restaurants in Lorraine. As a reminder, Lorraine has 9 starred restaurants (1 star), with the star obtained by the restaurant Le K, in Montenach, during the previous edition.

  • The Dukes of Lorraine in Épinal (88)
